PHYSICAL & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
– Physical Therapy: Physical Therapy is a goal oriented rehabilitative treatment with a focus on improving mobility and reducing pain. Using methods of core training, manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercise, Physical Therapy achieves improvements in strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, activity tolerance, and pain.
– Occupational Therapy: Occupational Therapy is a patient centered rehabilitative treatment that works to improve health and quality of life. Through coaching, patients learn habit changes and adaptive strategies to achieve greater engagement in their daily lives. Commonly treated conditions include: upper extremity injuries, concussions, chronic pain, obesity, diabetes, and smoking.
Commonly treated conditions include orthopedic, sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, gait dysfunction, sprains/strains and back pain.
